Billy Graham’s Message on the 2012 Election

On November 6, 2012, we will elect our nation’s President for the next four years. Whichever candidate you support, please exercise your right to vote.

This election is the most important in my 60 years on earth. President Obama and Governor Romney each have two very different visions for the future of our nation.

Designed to Serve is a tax-exempt Christian charitable organization. As such, we may not lobby on behalf of either candidate. As a Christian organization, we may support and promote the teachings of the Bible. With this in mind, presented below is a message from Billy Graham, probably the best known and most highly regarded Christian in the world.

“The legacy we leave behind for our children, grandchildren and this great nation is crucial. As I approach my 94th birthday, I realize this election could be my last. I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel. I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Vote for biblical values this November 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.”*
