Your one and only life

Life is short. The older you get, the faster time goes. We all have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days in most years. “What will you do with the time that’s left?”

The past is over and you can’t change any of it. The present is but a moment; snap your fingers and it’s already the past. The future is the only part yet to be lived. Psalm 90:12 reminds us, “Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

What is most important step you can take to live a life well-lived? Be sure you know who you’re living for. A life well lived is lived for God and His glory. You serve an Audience of One. Develop a vibrant, moment-by-moment relationship with Jesus Christ. Become best friends.  How?

  • Spend time together. Remember that He is with you everywhere you go.
  • Talk about everything. Share your thoughts with Him through prayer. Tell Him what’s really going on in your life. He’ll share His thoughts through the Word of God.
  • Finally, build shared memories. Make Him part of everyday activities and those special moments in your life. Over time you will experience more
